Management Buy-out Antonius Vessel Heads B.V.

Maasbracht – As per July 16th, 2018, the current management of Antonius, consisting of Richard Hamersma and Rob Derix have acquired the majority of shares of Antonius Vessel Heads B.V. Richard who will take the role as Managing Director and Rob who will be the Commercial Director will form the management of the company. The current Managing Director Mr. Smeets steps back and will have a role as advisor.

Antonius Vessel Heads was founded in 1937 and evolved in over 80 years to an important supplier of large complex 3D shapes like heads, cones and bellows. Also parts as gasturbine exhaust collectors or even art sculptures are part of our scope. The company is active in numerous markets, varying from oil and gas, (petro)chemical, LNG, food and beverage to renewable energies. Antonius has customers in more than 40 countries on all continents.

The Management Buy-out will not bring major changes. During the last years we were already responsible for the strategy and the daily activities says Richard. We will continue the current strategy with modern management and renewed customer focus.

Rob adds : Antonius equals quality, we have machines that are unique in Europe. Add this to our knowledge of materials and production processes, makes us a partner for our customers in an early stage of their projects. Whether it is a large project overseas or a small project for a local company, all appreciate our projectbased and personal approach.
